On Friday 20 August the year 7 & 8 students heard the finalists in this year's year 7 & 8 Speech Competition. All students who competed had prepared well and had speeches of a very high standard. Three students re-presented their speeches on Monday 23 August and the winners were Tapani Maka at Year 7 and Andrew Miles at Year 8. Well done to both the winners. We wish them well for the Southland finals being held at Verdon College in the Pavilion on Tuesday 31 August 2010.
